Lull in Business: Prostitutes Blame PMB

By FRANCIS OGBONNA

A community of prostitute in a highbrow area in Lagos has blamed the government of President Muhammadu Buhari for the lull in business they are facing.

The sex workers who expressed dismay insisted that “market” has not been very good since the recession set in.

One of them, a student who spoke to My Backyard Story said, “It is not like we don’t have periods that we are faced with hiccups every once in a while. We do! For example during Ramadan-when Muslim fast, most of our clients, mostly Lebanese stay off, but business picks up as soon as that is done.

“But this is different, because since Buhari came into government, the number of runs we have dropped drastically.”
