Her words, “I don’t know why people are so keen about me getting married. Is marriage compulsory?”

She added, “I am not saying that if it comes I won’t accept it, I will, but I must do it right. I am not desperate about marriage now and I have never been.”

The Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) award recipient, who turned 38 in May have been under pressure from both well wishers and critics to settle down, but has stated that one reason why she was not married yet was because she was taking her time.
