Porn Not An Option For Me-Cosy Orjiakor

Racy actress, Cossy Orjiakor in this no-hold-barred chat with FRANCIS OGBONNA shares a bit about her person. Excerpts…

Have you always felt this confident about your endowment (breast size), say for instance when you were a teenager?
When I was younger I was ashamed of my breast size. My age mates used to call me “little woman”. It was very annoying because I was just 14 years old and a teenager.

Has its sizes and the way you have always packaged them exposed you to any harassment at any point in time?
Then while in Loretta Special Science School, one of my teachers called me in and checked me for physical signs of pregnancy. She thought I was pregnant, because my boobs were so huge and strong (she laughs).

What about as an adult, have you ever been jumped on, by any man, because he was moved by your endowments? Have you ever been sexually harassed because of your style?
No! I haven’t.

What happened to your acting career?
I am still a full member of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). I still act. I have a new movie in the market one million boys produced by Neehassan.  When I started out I was hungry, very hungry.

When and how did acting begin for you?
I started acting during my NYSC year. Then I was paid N7,500 as a youth copper, but that wasn’t enough for me so in a bid to augment for this, I had to go to auditions and all. I had to appear in a lot of movies to make ends meet. But right now am quite comfortable. So I work when my comfort is not at stake, besides back when I was hungry I worked for very few producers like Sunny Mcdon; Obi Osotule; Chico Ejiro; Bayowa and the other A-list producers then. I don't know most of the new producers now and I don’t like hustling for roles. When I’m financially capable, I will start my own production.

What about marriage and raising a family of your own, is it something you are giving serious thoughts?
I will love to get married when I meet someone like me. Not someone so different that may want to change the way I work and smile. I wouldn’t want to marry a man that after marriage will ask me to stop what I am doing now. If that happens it may lead to us breaking up. I want a marriage that is very flexible. I will also like a man to be a very good cook. We should help each other, not someone that will turn me into a house maid and seize all my crazy costumes.

If you had wanted to tow the line of Afro Candy (the porn actress), you would probably have made a huge success out of it, why is that not an option for you?
Maybe I should ask you the same question. You are a good looking guy and can make much more as a porn actor than journalist. So why are you not considering it also? Maybe you can act alongside afro candy (she laughs). I will even encourage you by buying the movie. Afro candy is a great lady; she still has wonderful body after having a few kids. I envy her a lot because most women that have kids can't even afford to show their tummy. Having said that, I am good at being me. I have been consistent for 10 years now. I am having fun just doing what I do now, so pornography is not an option. Besides I’ m a very successful businesswoman and God has been good to me..

Are we likely going to see you quit what you doing someday?
No! I will still be doing all that am doing in a long time...

Did you really sleep with a dog in one of your flicks?
The movie (Itohan part 3) is online. I will advise you see it yourself. Like they say “Seeing is believing”. Watch the movie (or do I say the dog)

Lastly before you go, if you were to have a daughter of your own, would you like her to be like you, I mean do what you do?
Hmmm, if you have a son will you like him to be like you? What most Nigerians lack is self-worth. “Over confidence dey worry me”. I don't have any kids yet but when I do. I will give them the basic education and make them know their self-worth. Whatever career they choose, I will support them.

Thanks for your time.
