Stop Accusing Me of bleaching, Adunni laments

By FRANCIS OGBONNA

Sultry actress and comedienne, Adunni Ade has asked Nigerians who accuse her of bleaching not to do so any more as her skin colour is natural.

The sexy mother of two wonderful boys, who returned from the United States in 2014 in her chat with My Backyard Story also cried “And they should also stop saying that is why I get roles easily.”

“In case you don’t know, I don’t even use lotion, because Nigeria is too hot and heat and I don’t mix. My mother is American/German and that was where I got my skin colour from,” she added.

Concerning her roles, she quipped: “I get my roles basically on merit, and I know how many times I have had to turn roles down just because the producers wanted something else.”

Adunni (full name Adunni Adewale) was born on the 7th of June to an American/German mother and a Nigerian Father in Queens, New York.

She got her primary education at Chrisland School, Ikeja, Lagos State. For her secondary education, she studied at Bells Secondary School in Ota. Then, she moved to America, where she studied accounting at the University of Kentucky.
