12-year old Pupil’s headless body dumped in cassava farm

Residents of Bogoso, a village in the Western Region of Ghana were on Thursday thrown in grief after the headless body, said to belong to a 12-year-old pupil was found dumped in a Cassava farm, Ghanaweb.com reports.
The body, which still had the uniform on and backpack strapped was said to have started decomposing and had flies and ants attending to it.
The grief stricken family was said to have discovered and retrieved the remains following a search by his relatives.
Investigation carried out later revealed that the boy, Ebenezer Tetteh, a pupil of Grace International School at Bogoso, had been allegedly beheaded by Alex Tetteh, who afterwards sold it to some unknown persons

Alex, who was arrested by the people of Sakro, near Dixcove is currently in police custody assisting in investigation.

According to the region’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olivia Adiku, the suspect would be put before court on Friday to seek a remand to conclude investigations into the case.
