26-year-old Kenyan intercepted at Ghana Airport with drugs worth N32M

A 26-year-old Kenyan national has been arrested at the Kotoka International Airport,(KIA) Ghana for trafficking substance suspected to be narcotics.
The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) which made the arrest January 9, disclosed that the lady, Ivy Mugure Daniel, was intercepted, while undergoing formalities upon her arrival into the country.
NACOB officers serving at the Airport said Ms. Daniel arrive the country via Ethiopian Airline flight ET 921.
A search through her luggage revealed she had a large quantity of off-white powdery substance wrapped in a black polythene bag weighing about 3kg.
A Test later carried out by the Ghana Standards Authority on the substance proved positive to “speed ball”, a mixture of cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of $90,000.00 (N
32,400,000).
Ms. Ivy promptly admitted to owning the parcel and has since been arraigned.
She is presently in jail pending her trial.
