LNSC Official stabbed to death while Watching Man U’s game

Suspected cultists on Wednesday hacked to death an official of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), while he was watching the UEFA Champions league game between Manchester United (ManU) and Sevilla FC at a viewing centre in Lagos.
According to witnesses, Mr. Moshood Bolaji, who was returning home from work at about 9:30p.m, on that day decided to stop by and enjoy the football game between the team he follows, ManU and its UCL rival at Umunede Bar, Mallam Isah Close, Aguda, Surulere, when the fight broke out.
Bolaji was said to have stepped in to broker peace between the warring viewers, but attracted the anger of the cultists who transferred their aggression to him. He was pounced upon and before he could defend himself he was stabbed in the neck.
He was rushed to the hospital but died before they got there.
The state Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, who paid a condolence visit to the victim’s office and family yesterday, has ordered the Anti-Kidnapping and Special Anti-Robbery Squad units to fish out Bolaji’s killers.

The commissioner assured the family of the deceased that the command would leave no stone un-turned to unravel Bolaji’s killers.
