Varsity rewards Student who built a ‘Water Bicycle’ with full scholarship

Remember Ghanaian student, Frank Darko who invented a ‘water bicycle’ to address the challenge of children who may have to cross water bodies before they could get to school?
Well, the University where he studies, Takoradi Technical University has decided to celebrate him and that they did with a full scholarship.
The Vice Chancellor, of the school, Rev’d Professor John Frank Eshun, disclose the reward was to motivate him to undertake more innovations so as to provide remedies for Ghanaians and the rest of the world.

Rev. Prof. Eshun, who expressed joy about the invention, hinted that such gestures were open to any student who will emulate Darko.
“We would take up the project, in collaboration with Mr. Darko and see how we could improve on it so it could meet global standards”
Frank Darko was a final year student at the Takoradi Technical University pursuing Graphic Design but deferred the course due to financial challenges.
