Emir Sanusi’s impersonator nabbed

A 20-year-old man allegedly pretending to be the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi on Instagram, have been arrested by the Police.
The said account, which has more than 200,000 followers had also been given the ‘blue tick’ - which verifies the account is real, though still marked as private.
Officer Musa Magaji, deployed to the Kano state police told the BBC, that while investigation are ongoing, the suspect would soon be charged to court, for impersonation and fraud.
The suspect, according to the police, is also impersonation six other notable Nigerians, including some businessmen, raking in a cumulative three million followers via the IG accounts.
