Ghanaians Mock Buhari for offering to help Ghana fight corruption

Ghana marked its Independence from Colonial rule on Tuesday and as expected, the leaders of other African country’s joined in the celebration, with some promising to support the former gold coast nation in whatever ways they could.
One of its these leaders, President Muhammadu Buhari in his speech, commemorating the ceremony, promised to ‘help’ Ghana which has been plagued with corruption in the recent past, fight the menace.
However, this offer didn’t seem to go down well with the nationals, who questioned the morality of Nigeria’s number one citizen.
According to Ghanaweb, its countrymen took to social media to register their disgust.
One of the themes that feature in the reactions included the case of the snake that allegedly swallowed 36 million naira ($102,409, the cedis equivalent of over 470,000 cedis from the office of Nigeria’ Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Here are some of their reactions:
“… Your Excellency, I can assure you that you have a good partner in me in tackling endemic corruption,” the Nigerian President said.
But below are the reactions of some Ghanaians on social media.
