Man sentenced 97 months for child pornography

A Jena, Louisiana native, Shane Jeansonne has been sentenced to 97 months imprisonment for downloading hundreds of photos and video clips of child pornography.
He is also required by the court verdict to register as a sex offender.
United States Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook, who disclosed this piece of information, said the 30 year old was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Dee D. Drell on one count of receiving child pornography.
The court was able to establish during the trial that the convict didn’t only download, but also distributed child pornography online.
Law enforcement Agents that searched his home on March 18, 2015, found numerous computers and storage devices containing videos and images of child pornography.
Jeansonne admitted to the charges and filed a guilty plea.
