Nigeria Govt didn’t pay any ransom for release of Dapchi Girls– Boko Haram

BBC reporter, Stephanie Hegarty has said she was told by residents of Dapchi, that the insurgents who returned the hitherto abducted pupils, specifically told them the Federal Government did not pay any kind of ransom to effect their release.
Disclosing this via her twitter handle-@stephaniehegarty, the journo said:
“Dapchi resident told me Boko Haram preached to them this morning, saying three things - that the girls are not to go back to school, that they didnt receive money from Gov and that the did not sexually assault the children.”
