Woman, Maryam Sanda who stabbed her husband to death granted bail

A high Court, sitting in Abuja, FCT has granted bail to the woman, Maryam Sanda, who allegedly stabbed her husband and son of Haliru Bello, an ex-PDP chairman, Bilyamin Bello to death.
Justice Yusuf Halilu, granted the accused who had been in police custody, with her 8-month-old daughter bail on health grounds.
A medical report had suggested that she was pregnant and ill.
Sanda was said to have perpetuated the act following an argument that ensued between the two of them at their home in November last year.
She was said to have stabbed late Bello three times in the back and severally on his private parts at their residence in Pension Estate, Pakali Close, Wuse 2, Abuja.
She drove the deceased to Maitama hospital afterwards, who was confirmed dead on arrival.
They got married in 2015 and have an eight-month-old daughter.
