Justin Bieber punches man who grabbed woman by the throat at Coachella party

Singer Justin Bieber played the unlikely hero when at a Coachella Music Festival party last Sunday; he punched a man, who had attacked his former girlfriend in public.
TMZ reports that the attacker had entered the party hosted by Bieber’s friend and actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, and went "gaga" after he sighted his ex. The infuriated guy walked towards the lady and then grabbed her by the throat and “would not release his grip”.
Eyewitnesses say that Bieber, 24, and his entourage saw the whole incident unfold and began screaming at the attacker to take his hands off the woman, only to be told by the assailant culprit to "go f---yourself!"
This seemed to upset the pop star and he stepped in and "punched the guy in the face and threw him against the wall", allowing the distressed woman to break free.
Officers from the La Quinta Police Department were soon called to the altercation, but not before the gatecrasher was booted from the gathering and later allegedly chased down an SUV he thought Bieber was travelling in.
He was soon arrested by police but, oddly enough, cops say the woman at the centre of the brawl has “declined to press charges for the alleged battery and had no visible injuries at the time of police contact".
Up until the run-in, Bieber had had the time of his life at Coachella.
