What I Discussed With Saraki, Dogara – President Buhari

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday disclosed some of the issues he discussed with the President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, during a meeting at the State House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Monday, May 7.
President Buhari said he briefed them on his meeting with President Donald Trump and also discussed the 2018 budget.
The Nigerian President made the revelation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, May 7.
 “This afternoon, on my return from Daura, I met with the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, at the State House.
“We will continue to engage to resolve issues and ensure that our common goal of leadership and service, for the good of the country, is not undermined or sidetracked in any way.

“I briefed them on my recent trip to the US to meet with President Trump, and we also discussed the 2018 budget.
“This leadership is what Nigerians elected us to deliver, and we will not let you down,” Buhari wrote on his personal Twitter page.
