It’s a Miracle! Infant Survives After Falling From The Second Floor Of A Building

It was indeed a miracle!
An infant Last Sunday was found outside a restaurant after surviving a fall from the second floor of a Kajang building.
At around 5pm, Thayalan Paliandy was eating at the restaurant when he heard a loud thud followed by a scream from a restaurant staff member, New Straits Times reported.
"I rushed to the back of the restaurant where the noise came from and saw a baby boy lying motionlessly on the ground," he said.
"The baby had turned blue with blood coming out of his head and nose. I initially thought that he was dead, but I saw his hand move," Paliandy added.
Kajang police deputy chief Superintendent Mohd Sabri Abdullah revealed that the baby, whose umbilical cord was still intact, suffered severe injuries.
The newborn was taken to a nearby clinic for first aid before receiving treatment at the neonatal intensive care unit in Kajang Hospital.
As of yesterday, 25 June, the baby was "still in critical condition."
A witness, who called the police after seeing the baby fall, said that an Indonesian woman had given birth nearby earlier in the day
"The woman, who works at a factory in Bangi, lives with some 30 workers at the hostel since arriving in Malaysia two months ago," she said.
The deputy chief superintendent revealed that the 22-year-old, whom police believe is the baby’s mother, has been found. "The woman will be remanded for seven days until July 1 to facilitate investigation under Section 317 of the Penal Code (for child abandonment)," he said, according to New Straits Times.
