The world is watching us, Buhari Reminds NASS Members

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, December 19, appeared before the joint session of the National Assembly (NASS) to present the 2019 budget.
The president was greeted by a loud ovation and unruly chants from lawmakers on his arrival at the joint session with shouts of “Sai Baba’’ as he acknowledged greetings from the crowd.
President Buhari in response to some unruly chants by some members of the National Assembly, said, "May I remind members of the National Assembly that the world is watching us. We are supposed to be above this."
He opened the Next Level Budget presentation listing some of the major infrastructure projects in the country, showing how every part and region of this country is covered. President Buhari was accompanied to National Assembly by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
